Course Information

Twin Lakes golf is unique and fun for all ages and abilities.

Twin Lakes is a fun golf course that’s challenging for golfers of all abilities. Established in 1912, Twin Lakes is one of Wisconsin's oldest golf courses. We've been family owned and operated for over 30 years by the Cantwell Family.

Twin lakes Country Club is a traditional parkland layout and very forgiving off the tee. With greens as small as postage stamps, you'll need to bring your "A" game! The course offers five Par 5's, six Par 3's and seven Par 4's. It's reminiscent to the "Golden Age" of golf when small, true greens, and club accuracy and control were required talents.

Our driving range is made up of natural grass and artificial turf. It also includes a practice bunker, and a private area available for lessons.

Twin Lakes Country Club offers two golf professionals on staff to help you navigate the course. Chad Cantwell and Chris Elrod are available for private and group lessons, as well as clinics. Twin Lakes also conducts an exceptional six-week Junior Golf Academy led by our pros and dedicated staff. Our staff is led by Superintendent Matt Gronke. Since 1975, Matt and his team, improve and maintain the conditions of the course. His dedication and expertise keeps our course looking beautiful.

Take a tour with the Director of Twin Lakes Golf and General Manager, Chad Cantwell.

Who better to ask for the course highlights than a member of the Twin Lakes family, Chad Cantwell.

How do you recommend the first hole be played?

Drive slow in the cart or you’ll spill your drinks!” That should give you a pretty good idea of the spirit of Twin Lakes Country Club. We don’t necessarily take ourselves too seriously, but we do love our golf!

What is the best par 5 on the course?

#8 presents a challenging tee shot to a small landing area. Eight offers a scenic approach to the green on your third shot. This two-tiered green is guarded by bunkers in front and back.

What is the best par 3 on the course?

#10 is an easy downhill with a large green. Easy to make par for average golfers.

What is the toughest hole on the golf course?

#16 has a pond that you need to carry on your tee shot (225 yards) and then another pond surrounding the green almost entirely.

What is the most difficult green on the golf course?

#12 presents a challenging slope back to front and right to left!

  • I play twin lakes two times a week. The course is in good shape. The staff is very helpful and nice. Have not had a bad time here (besides my golf game!) and the food is great. The people there go out of their way for you.

  • The golf outing for the Richmond Spring Grove Chamber was a huge success due to the detail and professionalism of Chad Cantwell and the staff at Twin Lakes Country Club.

“Chad worked with us in our fundraising efforts by making suggestions to increase revenue and add the “Chopper Ball Drop” to our event. Not only was the “Chopper Ball Drop” additional income, but it was awesome to watch.

“The staff was extremely hospitable, accommodating and focused on every detail. For weeks, the guests who attended spoke of the mouth-watering fillet mignon and the ability to have all the meals served hot and fresh at the same time.

“It was a pleasure to work with Chad and the staff at Twin Lakes Country Club!”

    - Laura Ferris, former Executive Director of RSG Chamber
  • “Twin Lakes CC is a wonderful place to host your golf outing. TLCC has helped the D.A.R.E. Program golf outing grow into one of the biggest outings in the area, with 288 golfers each year.

“This past summer we celebrated our 21st Annual D.A.R.E. Golf Outing with every year being held at TLCC. We continue to keep our outing at Twin Lakes because of the great course and superior service.

“I’ve been coordinating the D.A.R.E. Golf Outing for the past 12 years and each year the outing gets better, thanks in part to Chad Cantwell and his team at TLCC. The staff knows exactly what to do to make a golf outing run smoothly- which takes a lot of pressure off me.

“After golf, over 300 of us gather in the pavilion for a wonderful sit-down dinner. I highly recommend the filet mignon!

“Thanks Chad to you and your team for the great service and for making my job easier! We look forward to hosting our outing at Twin Lakes C.C. for many years to come!”

    - Deputy Ray Rowe, D.A.R.E. Officer/“Deputy Friendly,” Kenosha Co Sheriff’s Dept
  • “We’ve held our baseball team fundraiser at TLCC for the last four years.

From the beginning, Chad Cantwell was courteous, flexible and creative in ways for our organization to raise money (helicopter drop, on-course challenges, head table recognition, etc). He was always available and promptly provided answers to my questions. He has made it very easy to plan a large fundraising event like our organizational golf outing.

“Every year, the staff could not have been more courteous and professional, always ready to go above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs.

“The course has always been in great condition and has been playable for all of our participants, no matter what the golfer's ability.

“The outdoor banquet facility has always been a positive prompt for our organization. The outdoor facility is large enough to provide plenty of room for dinner, raffle, and dancing! Yup - we've had DJ's and live bands perform at our events and the TLCC staff has been most accommodating!

“Our golfers always rave about the food at TLCC. They have a large variety of options to choose from and all of their options leave the golfer wanting more! The quality of the food and service is exceptional. Our baseball organization has developed a great relationship with Chad and his staff. They are fantastic to work with and we'll definitely be back next year.”

    - Tom Jones, Lake Villa Defenders Baseball Team
  • “The Cheri Amore Memorial Golf Classic has been held at the Twin Lakes Country Club since 2003. Our success is greatly due to the staff at TLCC. From the shotgun start to the desert at the end of the evening, Chad and his team are there to serve our guests in every way. Many of our guests return year after year knowing they can expect a day of great golf, great food and great service all for a great cause.”

    - Buster and Cindy Amore, Cheri Amore Memorial Inc.
  • “I’ve had the pleasure of planning our Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser for our Youth Program with Mr. Cantwell year after year.

“Chad and his staff have these outings down. The service is second to none, The outdoor pavilion is ideal for a party of 144 golfers. Steak on outdoor grills is always a big hit.

“Chad arranges for Chopper Drop every year, he directs us on dates, what needs to be done and what to expect up front.

“I believe in all of my years attending golf outings, this place is in the Top Three every time. Thank you for your service and I highly recommend Mr. Cantwell for all your party and event planning needs.”

    — John G

  • “One of golf’s greatest teachers, Harvey Penick, said, ‘If you play one bad round, forget it.
Two bad rounds, check your fundamentals.
Three bad rounds, call your Pro.’ Thanks Chad, for making Golf so enjoyable for me.”

    - Craig P
  • “I wanted to get from ‘Something-2’ to ‘Something Else-9’ but couldn’t. I asked Chad to take three strokes off my game and scheduled three lessons at $35 each. Worked like a charm. Every time I see a new $300 driver that offers me 15 more yards I wonder how many strokes Chad can knock off for that $300 instead.”

    - Craig P
